Science Museum Excursion

I have been aware for a while now that Ukraine has a particular talent for science and engineering and so it was fantastic for the kids to learn and experience science unlike anything they would be able to see in the classroom. The personal highlight for me was placing a balloon in liquid nitrogen which made the balloon ‘deflate’ and inflate again once it was removed. This explains the relationship between temperature and pressure ((PV=nRT) in gasses.

Discrimination

A world without discrimination is something that must be achieved, and so it is vitally important that the younger generation are educated about the types of discrimination, how it impacts victims and how to end inequity in our society. The superman role-play was a funny, yet effective way to get this message across and I was incredibly impressed by the knowledge the kids already had on the subject.
